At Honduran Hearts, we believe education is one of the most powerful tools to break the cycle of poverty. That’s why our Student Care Program exists—to fully support the academic needs of selected students in Honduras.

💡 What We Provide

 

We commit to covering an entire academic year for each sponsored student, including:

• Tuition & registration fees

• Books & school supplies

• Uniforms

• Transportation

• Any additional academic-related costs

 

🤝 Commitments

​

• Students agree to maintain an A/B average, avoid disciplinary issues, write two short letters to their sponsor, and, when possible, serve with visiting Honduran Hearts teams.

• Parents commit to supporting their child’s education and allowing a Honduran Hearts rep to access school progress reports.

• Supporters enable it all—by giving, praying, and staying connected.

 

💙 Additional Support

Our program also provides limited one-time assistance for children who are not officially enrolled but whose families are in urgent need. Whether it’s school shoes, a backpack, or help with a fee—they matter, and we’re here to help when we can.

• 100% of every Student Care donation goes directly to the student.

• There are no admin, processing, or overhead fees.

• Our Honduran team handles all purchases, and receipts and reports are carefully reviewed by Honduran Hearts, Inc.

 

When a child’s annual needs are met, sponsors are notified and can choose to:
✅ Stop contributing
✅ Support another student or project
✅ Apply funds to the following academic year
