Jose Amilcar Rosa, now entering 7th grade, is thriving as he steps into middle school. Since joining Honduran Hearts in 2019, he has grown academically, creatively, and personally. A determined student, Amilcar enjoys soccer and dreams of playing professionally while also aspiring to earn a degree in computer science. As the oldest sibling, he leads by example at home. His family’s outlook on education has transformed over time, and today, consistent school attendance and strong performance reflect their commitment. Amilcar’s journey is a powerful picture of growth, perseverance, and the impact of a supportive community.

Ose is a determined 13-year-old who has excelled in this school year and is advancing to 5th grade, a milestone worth celebrating. Since joining Honduran Hearts in 2019, he has grown tremendously, overcoming early challenges to fully embrace his education. His family has also developed a strong appreciation for learning, offering steady encouragement along the way. Ose enjoys playing soccer and is beginning to dream about his future, hoping to become a veterinarian. His journey reflects perseverance, growth, and the positive impact of a supportive family and community.

​Biography:

 

Noel is an energetic and joyful 8-year-old from Plancitos and one of five children in a hardworking family. 2025, his first year with Honduran Hearts’ Student Care Program, has been a wonderful success. Noel loves playing soccer and brings that same enthusiasm into the classroom, where he continues to grow in his understanding of education's value. As he enters 2nd grade, he is already dreaming about the future and hopes to become a police officer. Noel’s journey reflects a spirit of joy, resilience, and growing confidence as he learns and thrives.

​Biography:

 

Marta is a bright, joyful, and enthusiastic young girl who is thriving as she embraces her education. Now entering 1st grade and her third year with Honduran Hearts, she loves school and excels academically. As the only girl among four brothers, Marta proudly shows that girls are strong, capable, and full of potential. Her parents have grown into active supporters of their children’s education, encouraging them every step of the way. A budding artist, Marta enjoys painting and drawing and dreams of becoming a teacher. Her journey reflects confidence, creativity, and a love for learning
